Memorandum Order No. 155-BJan 8, 1990Presidential Issuances

Memorandum Order No. 155-B, issued on January 8, 1990, supplements Memorandum Order No. 155-A from February 10, 1988, by clarifying the procedures regarding the grant of incentive and medical allowances. It states that employees who received these allowances without legal basis are required to refund the amounts. To ease the financial burden, agencies are permitted to allow a two-year period for employees to return the funds. This order is effective immediately.

SUPPLEMENTING MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 155-A DATED FEBRUARY 10, 1988 PROVIDING CLARIFICATORY INFORMATION ON THE GRANT OF INCENTIVE/MEDICAL ALLOWANCE AND REQUIRING THE REFUND OF SUCH BENEFITS WHICH WERE PAID WITHOUT LEGAL BASIS

A supplement to Memorandum Order No. 155-A is hereby issued as follows:

"To ease the burden of paying back unauthorized incentive/medical allowances, agencies may allow their employees to return and/or refund such funds within a period of two (2) years from the date of receipt of this Order.

This Memorandum Order takes effect immediately.
