OCA Circular No. 110-2021 informs all judges of the First and Second Level Courts about the implementation of the Rules on the Use of Body-Worn Cameras in the Execution of Warrants, effective August 1, 2021. This initiative aims to enhance transparency and accountability during warrant executions. The rules were published on July 31, 2021, in major Philippine newspapers and are officially recognized as A.M. No. 21-06-08-SC. Judges are advised to familiarize themselves with these new guidelines for proper enforcement.

RE Rules on the Use of Body-Worn Cameras in the Execution of Warrants

 

Following the publication on 31 July 2021 in the Philippine Star and Manila Bulletin, the Rules on the Use of Body-Worn Cameras in the Execution of Warrants (A.M. No. 21-06-08-SC) issued by the Court en banc take effect on 1 August 2021, as provided in Sec. 3, Rule 5, thereof.
