Memorandum Order No. 457, issued on December 22, 1997, authorizes officials and employees of the Office of the President to receive P1,000 each for expenses related to the sewing of Filipiniana attire. MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 457

AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF THE EXPENSES IN CONNECTION WITH THE 1997 FILIPINIANA ATTIRE FOR OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT (PROPER)

Pursuant to CSC Memorandum Circular No. 20, current series, implementing CSC Resolution No. 97-3461, dated July 24, 1997, all officials and employees of this Office, regardless of the nature and/or source of their salaries/wages, provided they are in the service as of the date of the issuance of this Order or were appointed to any position and assumed office not later than December 31, 1997, are hereby authorized to draw ONE THOUSAND PESOS (P1,000.00) each for their expenses in connection with the sewing of their Filipiniana attire, effective immediately, chargeable against the Trust Fund of this Office, subject to the availability thereof and to applicable accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

The wearing of the Filipiniana Attire shall be in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the "Dress Code" (Uniform) Committees, created under Special Order No. 142-A dated, April 8, 1996.
