AUTHORIZING THE HEADS OF OFFICES AND AGENCIES UNDER THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH AND THEIR NOMINATED PARTICIPANTS TO ATTEND ON OFFICIAL TIME THE LAUNCH OF THE ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION SEMINARS IMPLEMENTING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 523 ON NOVEMBER 9 2006 AT THE MALACAÑANG PALACE
The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Seminars that implements Executive Order No. 523 shall be launched on November 9, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Malacañang Palace. The said seminars aim to train in the field of ADR at least two (2) senior officials in all offices and agencies under the Executive Branch in order to promote the use of mediation, conciliation, arbitration, and other such modes as part of their practice in resolving disputes.
To ensure maximum participation, the heads of the offices and agencies under the Executive Branch and their nominated participants are hereby encouraged to attend this launching on official time, at no cost to the government except the payment of their salaries, and provided such attendance will not adversely affect the functions of their respective offices as well as the delivery of services to the public.
