Republic Act No. 4944, enacted on June 17, 1967, establishes the Marilao National Trade School in Marilao, Bulacan, under the supervision of the Director of Vocational Education. The school will offer secondary-level trade courses and is authorized to receive an initial appropriation of 200,000 pesos from the National Treasury for its establishment and maintenance during the fiscal year 1967. Future operational funds will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on February 24, 1969.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4944

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A NATIONAL TRADE SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARILAO, PROVINCE OF BULACAN, TO BE KNOWN AS MARILAO NATIONAL TRADE SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Director of Vocational Education, a national trade school in the Municipality of Marilao, Province of Bulacan, to be known as Marilao National Trade School. Courses of secondary level shall be offered in said school.

SECTION 2. Two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Thereafter, such sum as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
