Batas Pambansa Blg. 167, enacted on February 8, 1982, establishes Barangay Inasagan by separating the Sitio of Allere from Barangay Salvador in the Municipality of Salvador, Lanao del Norte. A plebiscite, to be supervised by the Commission on Elections within 120 days of the Act's approval, will determine the new barangay's ratification, with expenses covered by the Commission’s appropriations. Upon majority approval, the President will appoint the officials for Barangay Inasagan. The Act takes effect upon its approval.

AN ACT CONSTITUTING THE SITIO OF ALLERE, IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SALVADOR, PROVINCE OF LANAO DEL NORTE, INTO A NEW BARANGAY OF THE SAID MUNICIPALITY TO BE KNOWN AS BARANGAY INASAGAN

SECTION 1. The Sitio of Allere in the Municipality of Salvador, Province of Lanao del Norte, is separated from Barangay Salvador and constituted into a new barangay of the said municipality to be known as Barangay Inasagan. asia dc

SECTION 2. The Commission on Elections shall conduct and supervise the plebiscite which shall be held within one hundred twenty days from the approval of this Act. The expenses for the conduct of the plebiscite shall be funded out of the appropriations of the Commission on Elections provided for the purpose in Batas Pambansa Blg. 131.

SECTION 3. After ratification by the majority of the votes cast in a plebiscite, the President shall appoint the officials of the new barangay.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
