Batas Pambansa Blg. 426, enacted on June 10, 1983, converts the Sapian Barangay High School in Capiz into the Sapian National High School. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports is tasked with overseeing the conversion and operation of the school. Funding for the current fiscal year will come from local resources and national aid, with future financial requirements to be addressed in subsequent General Appropriations Acts. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on April 2, 1984.

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 426

AN ACT CONVERTING THE SAPIAN BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAPIAN, PROVINCE OF CAPIZ, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE SAPIAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

SECTION 1. The Sapian Barangay High School in the Municipality of Sapian, Province of Capiz, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Sapian National High School.

SECTION 2. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports is hereby directed to take the necessary steps for the conversion, operation and immediate implementation of this Act.

SECTION 3. The operation of said school for the current fiscal year shall continue to be funded out of local funds and from its share of national aid to local schools. The requirements for succeeding fiscal years shall be provided in the forthcoming General Appropriations Acts.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
