REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10737

AN ACT SEPARATING THE PIO DALIM MEMORIAL SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES — STA. FILOMENA ANNEX IN BARANGAY STA. FILOMENA, MUNICIPALITY OF CALANASAN, PROVINCE OF APAYAO FROM THE PIO DALIM MEMORIAL SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES, CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL ARTS AND TRADES HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS STA. FILOMENA SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The Pio Dalim Memorial School of Arts and Trades — Sta. Filomena Annex in Barangay Sta. Filomena, Municipality of Calanasan, Province of Apayao is hereby separated from the Pio Dalim Memorial School of Arts and Trades and converted into an independent national arts and trades high school to be known as Sta. Filomena School of Arts and Trades. HEITAD

SECTION 2. All personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Pio Dalim Memorial School of Arts and Trades — Sta. Filomena Annex are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Sta. Filomena School of Arts and Trades.

SECTION 3. The Secretary of Education shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Sta. Filomena School of Arts and Trades, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the Pio Dalim Memorial School of Arts and Trades — Sta. Filomena Annex. Thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 4. The Secretary of Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
