Batas Pambansa Blg. 626, enacted on June 24, 1983, converts the Mantabuan Barangay High School in Sapa-Sapa, Tawi-Tawi, into a national high school, named Mantabuan National High School. The school will continue to receive funding from local sources and national aid for the current fiscal year, with future funding to be included in upcoming General Appropriations Acts. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on May 14, 1984.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE MANTABUAN BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAPA-SAPA, PROVINCE OF TAWI-TAWI, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE MANTABUAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The Mantabuan Barangay High School in the Municipality of Sapa-Sapa, Province of Tawi-Tawi, is converted into a national high school to be known as the Mantabuan National High School. acd

SECTION 2. The operation of said school for the current fiscal year shall continue to be funded out of local funds and from its share of national aid to local schools. The requirements for succeeding fiscal years shall be provided in the forthcoming General Appropriations Acts.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
