Batas Pambansa Blg. 802, enacted on April 27, 1984, converts several provincial roads in Antique into national roads, enhancing their status and ensuring better maintenance. The roads specified include routes in the municipalities of San Jose, Hamtic, and Sibalom. Funding for the improvement and upkeep of these roads will come from an existing lump sum appropriation under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640 until future appropriations can address their maintenance. The Act took effect immediately upon approval and was published in the Official Gazette on December 10, 1984.

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 802
AN ACT CONVERTING CERTAIN PROVINCIAL ROADS IN THE PROVINCE OF ANTIQUE INTO NATIONAL ROADS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The following provincial roads in the Province of Antique are converted into national roads:
(a) Batayan-San Pedro-Pantao Road in the Municipality of San Jose.
(b) Buhang-Malandog Road in the Municipality of Hamtic
(c) Poblacion-Pisanan Road in the Municipality of Sibalom
(d) Poblacion-Alañgan Road in the Municipality of Sibalom
(e) Poblacion-Bugo Road in the Municipality of San Remegio
(f) Bugo-General Fullon Road in the Municipality of San Remegio
(g) Atabay-Inubusan Road, San Jose-Hamtic
(h) Pacita Drive, La Paz, Hamtic.
SECTION 2. The amount necessary for the improvement and maintenance of said roads shall continue to be funded out of the lump sum appropriation authorized under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640 for the repair and maintenance of local roads until such time that the maintenance funds for said roads shall have been provided for in the succeeding appropriations acts.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
