MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 922
URGING GOVERNMENT AGENCIES CONCERNED TO GIVE MAXIMUM SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO THE NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL TESTING CENTER, DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND CULTURE, IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONDUCT OF THE 1976 NATIONAL COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
WHEREAS, the National Educational Testing Center (NETC), Department of Education and Culture (DEC), is charged with the duty of administering the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE) required of all high school graduates seeking admission to post-secondary degree programs to pass the said examination, as provided under Presidential Decree No. 146 dated March 9, 1973; SCDaET
WHEREAS, the NCEE is scheduled to be given on November 21, 1976 in about 1,300 examination centers throughout the country to about half-a-million examinees, a job so great considering the demographic conditions of the Philippines;
WHEREFORE, the Department of National Defense (DND), the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the National Intelligence and Security Authority (NISA), the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM), and the Integrated National Police (INP), are hereby tasked to extend maximum support and assistance to the NETC, DEC, to ensure full security and smooth administration of the 1976 NCEE all over the country.
The Department of Public Information (DPI), the National Media Production Center (NMPC), the Bureau of Telecommunications (BUTEL) and the National Computer Center (NCC) are likewise enjoined to extend maximum support and assistance relative to the dissemination of essential information pertaining to the holding of the examination, the utilization of communication facilities throughout the country, and in the computer processing of the test results, respectively.
